Jackalope

24″ x 24″

mixed media on panel

Legend says the jackalope is cross between an extinct pygmy-deer and a species of killer-rabbit. Extremely shy unless approached gently, it can be aggressive and unpredictable and it has been reported that the creature is extremely defensive. While it can move quickly when it was being chased, the creature often prefers to face its hunters head on.
